Launched in 1957, every feature on the Omega Seamaster is designed for safety and security during your underwater adventures while maintaining enough elegance for everyday wear. Sturdy and casually sophisticated, the Seamaster is truly worthy of its name.

Omega is revolutionizing watch making with its Co-Axial escapement. The escapement is the heart of every mechanical watch and Omega watches are breaking the 200-year-old mold with innovation. The new design is based on double Co-Axial escape wheel, a lever with three pallet stones and impulse stone on the balance roller, together with a free sprung-balance. The Co-Axial system reduces sliding friction compared with the lever escapement and thus ensures greater accuracy over time. An Omega watch with Co-Axial escapement requires service less frequently, every ten years rather than every five.
